    Hi Alan,

    I have no story to tell but just want to let you know that I have finally seen the Mekong River in all four countries through which it courses through — Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Laos. Except that I don’t have a photo of the Thailand mekong. I will post later in the Photo section the photos I took of the Mekong river in Cambodia and Vietnam, and much later, the Laos side when I find it in my archives.

    GeeJay: Thanks for the post. It would be great to see some images of the boats working in Vietnam’s Mekong delta. I trust that all visitors will note that posts need not be limited to Pacific Coast tales.

    From Harrison river () to Mission (under the bridge) on a miserable rainy day in November.

    We’ll try to do better in June, and go down to Vancouver, maybe leaving from hope.

    Current average was 1 knot, a couple of places peaked at 2.5 kt.
